Under the guidance of Rod West a qualified coach, who took over from the previous coordinator in 2007, Boston has a thriving and successful Junior Section with 18 & Under and Under 25 County Winners and in the past we have had 2 Under 18 England Internationals.
We have 20 members at present with ages ranging from 6 - 18 who are all keen and competitive and compete in County individual and team competitions including the Lincolnshire I.B.A. 18 and Under League.
Within the Junior Section, there are 6 competitions held each year for which trophies are awarded - singles, pairs, triples, fours, league and skills within the Cub are 18 & under senior and junior singles.
We meet on a Saturday from 11.00 - 1.00pm so if you are interested, do come along and see what we get up to, (under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times). All your time on the green is ‘free of charge’ up until the age of 18. After your first 4 weeks tuition, if you wish to join the club a membership fee must be paid.
You never know one day it may lead to a place in a team representing the club in a National competition or the County in an International Team.
